Our Story
WASA is a registered SACCO under the Cooperatives Act headquartered in Kakamega, Kakamega County - Fulfilling all the requirements as stipulated by the Government of Kenya. The SACCO held its first AGM on the 26th of April, 2018 where we elected our 13 board of directors. The SACCO currently allows checkoff payment option after being awarded the payment code by the government. We also have an IFMIS no. awarded by the government. Identifying as a development ambassador, the aim is to empower our members financially leading to financial development and growth through credit services. We encourage as part of our values;

Objectives
Our Objectives include:
- Create trust between team members by afforisng them an opportunity for accumulating their savings and deposits creating a source of funds from which loans can be made available to them for provident and productive purposes at fair and reasonable rates, interests, thereby enabling them to use for mutual benefit
- To ensure personal growth through the introduction of new products and services that will promote the economic base of members
- To ensure the progress of members and society through continuos educationn programs as proper use of credit, reductioon of poverty, human dignity nd cooperation
