Who is eligible to join:

  • Health workers
  • National and County Governemnt employees
  • Private organizations and parastatal employees
  • Individual members

Membership requirements:

  • Filled membership application and admission form
  • Copy of National Identity Card
  • A passport size photograph
  • Paid monthly contribution. Minimum amount is 1000
  • Contribute Kshs. 200 towards the welfare fund. This fund covers the;
  • Principal Member at Kshs. 50,000
  • Spouse at Kshs. 50,000
  • Children at Kshs at 25,000

How to pay using Mpesa to Cooperative Bank

To pay using M-pesa option:

  • Go to Safaricom Toolkit on your mobile phone
  • Select Mpesa Menu
  • Select Lipa na Mpesa option
  • Select PayBill
  • Enter Business Number 400222
  • Enter Account No. 105194 [Followed by # then the branch number]. Do not leave any spaces
  • Enter Amount and confirm payment to WASA Savings
  • You will receive two SMSs - from Mpesa and Cooperative Bank confirming payment

How to pay using Mpesa
